I’m always very happy for you to contact me with any questions you may have, however if I’m busy in my treatment room and you want a quick answer, check out some of the most frequently asked questions below:
Availability is my most frequently asked question! Often I receive phone messages asking for an appointment the same day, but when I am in my treatment room with clients my phone is on silent so I am unlikely to be able to respond for a while. Rather than leaving you hanging around, here is the most likely response: highly unlikely!
Appointment slots get booked up well in advance, especially evenings and Saturdays. In the event of last minute cancellations, I first check with anyone on my waiting list and then post it on my Facebook page, so you may like to check there. Appointments for the same week are sometimes available, especially if you can come during the day and are flexible with timing. But in order to secure a slot that best fits in with you, I would advise you to book well in advance.
If you’d like to book an appointment then you welcome to either call or email me, whichever suits you best. Please do bear in mind though that I’m with clients for most of the day so if you call you are likely to get my answer machine. If you leave me a message I will call you back as soon as I am free. If you are only able to make evening/Saturday appointments then it would be great if you could include that in your message/email, just so that I can get back to you with some options that are most likely to work for you.
Not a problem! It happens to us all, we book an appointment in and then life gets in the way and we need to reschedule or cancel. I would just ask that you respect the value of my time and give me as much notice as possible. This allows me to offer your appointment slot to clients on the waiting list. So please contact me as soon as you realize you are not going to be able to make it.
If you cancel your appointment at very short notice (less than 12 hours) and I cannot fill your slot then you will be expected to pay a £20 cancellation fee. Should you fail to turn up then you will be expected to pay the full treatment price. Obviously there are exceptions such as illness (or going into labour!) and I am sympathetic towards these, I just ask that you contact me as soon as you realise so that I am not left waiting and wondering where you are!!
Absolutely! Reflexology can have many positive effects both physically and emotionally and being proactive about our health and wellbeing can have long-term benefits.
In situations where there are no major health issues, reflexology can encourage the body to focus on replenishing and maintaining a healthy balance. This then puts us in a better and calmer place to cope when dealing with life’s ups and downs such as stress, challenging situations, not to mention colds and viruses!
Also by giving ourselves valuable time out to relax and unwind, our churned up thoughts and busy switched-on minds can calm and settle, creating space and time for perspective and creativity. This often results in unexpected flashes of complete clarity about exactly what we need to do to next.

During clinic opening hours I am often with clients in my treatment room in which case my phone is on silent to ensure that each client gets 100% of my attention! This means that I often can’t respond to messages straight away. I aim to respond to queries on the day I receive them, but it can sometimes be the following day if I have evening clients. Messages left outside my opening hours will be responded too on my next working day.
An excellent question – as arriving either very early or late can create unnecessary stress and my aim is create an oasis of calm and relaxation! I always try to allow a small gap between clients, but if my first appointment runs over (which can happen from time to time) and then my next client arrives early this gap can completely disappear. I do have a chair and magazines in a small waiting area and you are welcome to come on in and sit down if you are a little early.
However, if you are more than 10 minutes early arriving I would ask that you wait in your car. This is because I may well still be with a client, so please respect their time and be patient. This is especially important as I always finish a treatment giving feedback about what I have found in the reflexes and this is obviously highly personal information that you would not necessarily want someone in the waiting area to hear.
If you arrive late, please be aware that I won’t be able to extend your allotted session time to the detriment of my next client.
I am based in Maidenhead. The treatment room is in Alwyn Road, which is in the St Marks area of Maidenhead, close to Pinkneys Green and Furze Platt. See my treatment room location page for more details.
